2K Sports has released a trailer for MyCAREER in NBA 2K16, named “Livin’ Da Dream”, providing a few hints about this year’s storyline. As previously announced, MyCAREER in NBA 2K16 is a “Spike Lee Joint”, featuring a player that is nicknamed Frequency Vibrations. This year’s MyCareer story begins in high school and you get the opportunity to go to college as well, with at least 11 universities to choose from.
Through Year 1 of MyCAREER, you’ll take your MyPLAYER and guide them through a turbulent journey to the NBA, which, as demonstrated in the trailer, is at times rather dark and gritty.
The story-driven elements are mostly contained to Year 1 of MyCAREER. From Year 2 onwards, there’s a much stronger RPG element to the mode, as you’ll have to make decisions about what you want to do on your off-days, the connections you want to make within the league, and so on. You’ll also be able to create your own MyCOURT, where you can practice, and host pick-up games.
We are 2 weeks away from the launch of NBA 2K16. The game will be available on Windows PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. For more updates, screenshots and videos, read our NBA 2k16 Articles.
